• Welcome to Saintware.com

This is the third incarnation of a website I began back in 2001. Previously, I used the site to market my services as an IT developer to small businesses. I did that kind of work on my free time while working during the day as an IT contractor for big businesses. Now, this site is going to be more personal than professional. Mostly, it's a place for me to publish my thoughts and play around with web development.

• What's Here, Anyway?

As always, I have big plans for the things I want to put on this site. Finding the time to complete those plans is another matter. The menu bar at the top of each page will get you to the primary content on the site. Some of those pages will be structured as jumping-off points for other content. For example, some articles and blurbs I want to publish will only be accessible via the Article TOC page. Most people arrive at those via a search engine, anyway. Likewise, the Laboratory will someday list several subpages for interesting technology demonstrations I'm working on that I feel are noteworthy. Here's a summary of the site's main pages:

One highlight of this website is my interactive Online Résumé. Who says résumés shouldn't be longer than a single page?

Dashboards! is a graphical display of some of the ASP.Net dashboards I've been designing for my current employer.

The Article Table of Contents lists several short pieces I've written on various topics, tech-related or otherwise.

The Laboratory is a small, boring version of Google Labs (conceptually speaking). Just stuff I'm playing with that others might find interesting.

• A Little About Me

I have around eighteen years experience designing and managing information systems for organizations such as Nestlé USA, the University of California at Los Angeles, Day Runner, Ameriquest Mortgage, Toyota, and several small-business clients. I hold a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from California State University, Fullerton, and I'm a summa cum laude graduate of California State University, Chico (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Production & Operations Management). I am also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served as an Arabic linguist, signals intelligence analyst, and electronic warfare operator (that's jamming, direction-finding, etc.) back in the mid-eighties.
